Nick Fox
has over 10 years experience in manufacturing operations and quality
systems, having served in various management positions.
During this time, he has served as a management
representative for a ductile iron foundry, developing and implementing a
QS-9000/ISO 9002:1994 quality program with successful registration in 7
months from start to finish.
Nick has concentrated his efforts in
implementing and auditing ISO 9000, QS-9000 and now ISO/TS 16949 quality
management systems.
He is a certified quality system auditor and has
assisted large and small firms in creating and successfully implementing ISO
9000 and QS-9000 quality management systems as a consultant.
Over 160 participants have received internal
auditor training from Nick.
Nick is currently a quality system consultant for
PowerWay Solutions.
He has extensive experience in manufacturing,
industrial and project management as well as quality assurance.
His work related knowledge is varied, from
continuous process improvements, to a hands-on working program.
As a consultant, Nick has assisted companies from plastic
injection, foundry, retail/wholesale, fire apparatus, motor assembly, LCD
panel assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, chemical, precision machining,
corrugated paper products and general assembly in implementing ISO 9001, ISO
14001 and ISO/TS16949 programs.
He provides companies with the knowledge of effectively
utilizing the requirements listed in the standards, from PPAP and FMEA, to
continual process improvements and customer satisfaction.
Nick is a certified quality auditor (IRCA # 1180516)
and a certified supplier auditor for ISO/TS 16949:2002 (AIAG # TS4-LA-112).
He has successfully completed numerous training
programs, from QS-9000 Internal Auditor Training to ISO/TS 16949:2002 Lead
Auditor training.
Nick has also attended numerous training
programs for APQP, Six Sigma and Quality System Interrelationships covering
PPAP, FMEA and MSA requirements.
Nick firmly believes in providing clarity for quality
systems, as he feels that an effective program will benefit the company
without an overabundance of unneeded paperwork and procedures.
